The 2025 Australian Open was an incredible moment for Platform Sports Management as we cheered on our ambassador, Thomas Fancutt, in his Grand Slam debut. Representing not only his immense talent but also the resilience and determination we champion, Thomas proudly wore our Platform branding as he stepped onto one of tennis’s biggest stages in Melbourne.

Hailing from Brisbane, Thomas Fancutt comes from a family that’s left its mark on tennis history. His grandfather, Trevor Fancutt, was a Wimbledon doubles quarterfinalist, and his grandmother, Daphne Fancutt, was a celebrated tennis champion. That legacy has fueled Thomas’s passion and drive to make his own impact on the sport.
Fast forward to today, and Thomas is building his reputation on the doubles circuit. With a career-high ATP doubles ranking of World No. 107 as of December 2024, he continues to push boundaries and rise through the ranks. In singles, he’s also had significant success, peaking at World No. 382 in May 2023.
At Melbourne Park, Thomas partnered with fellow Aussie Blake Ellis in the men’s doubles event. Securing a wildcard entry, the pair faced a tough challenge against Ivan Dodig and Skander Mansouri in the first round. Although the match ended in a 6-2, 7-5 loss, it was far from a disappointment—it was a major milestone for Thomas and an unforgettable experience on the Grand Slam stage.
